Attention New Users!

New users must register for a New York Times account.

Registration requires a MSU Network username and password, a MSU email account [such as ""], and is limited to current MSU students, faculty, and staff.

Please place “New York Times Access” in the subject line of the email and include your name, email address and university status (undergrad student, grad student, staff, faculty) in the email.

Are you an Online Student?

New users must be on campus to register for a New York Times account. If you are unable able to come to campus to create your account, please contact Cris Ferguson

Expired Access?

Once set up, your account is valid for one calendar year. 

If your account expires, to re-register visit, using your valid Murray State University email address.
