Distance Students: Getting Started

A guide to assist distance students with using Waterfield Library and accessing services from off-campus.

Welcome to Waterfield Library

Welcome! The University Libraries can assist you in the following ways:

  • We provide personal assistance by calling the Library Information Desk at 270-809-2053 or toll-free at 1-866-774-6612 
    • Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m.-9 p.m.
    • Friday from 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
    • Saturday from 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
    • Sunday from 1 p.m.-9 p.m.
  • We offer help with class assignments involving library research.
    • We have subject librarians who specialize in each line of study (See the tab above for Subject Librarian to find yours)
  • We provide course- and discipline-specific research guides.
    • See the tab for "Find Books" or "Fine Articles" for a link to the Research Guides.
  • We offer several ways to Ask a Librarian for assistance with all your information needs

Log into the library

You need to log into the library website in order to access our online resources. We use the university's NETWORK account for this process
